• USMC Mameluke tattoo sword,   97cm long, 13.5cm wide, 1.4kg, 1.8kg with package, brand new 1:1 replica, pointed, unsharpened;  
• Stainless steel blade, acid-etched floral engravings with "UNITED STATES  MARINES", 76cm long, 2.3cm wide, 0.4cm thick. The guard is solid steel with a golden finish in the quillon style. The off-white handle has golden band of steel down the center. Star screws secure the handle. The pommel features the a golden eye hole for the sword tassel; 
• The scabbard is a steel tube with a golden drag. Two more golden fittings secure the steel carrying rings at the top of the scabbard. A slim golden scabbard throat secures the blade in the scabbard;
• A Mameluke Sword is a cross-hilt, curved, scimitar-like sword. It is related to the shamshir, which had its origins in Persia from where the style migrated to India, Egypt and North Africa. Adopted in the 19th Century by several western armed forces, including the French Army, British Army and the United States Marine Corps, the Mameluke sword remains the ceremonial sidearm for some units to this day;

  1805 was the birth of the Marine Officers Sword. Barbary Pirates had been attacking American merchant ships in the Mediterranean. As a result Marines were deployed to Derna. Under the command of Lieutenant Preseley O'Bannon a group of Marines marched across 600 miles of North African desert to attack the Tripoli fort of Derna. The was captured and O'Bannon was the first man to raise the American flag on foreign soil. A desert chieftain presented the Mameluke Scimitar to O'Bannon as gratitude and respect for his accomplishment. By 1825 all Marine Officers were required to wear the Mameluke Sword. It has stayed in the Marines ever since.

  Shipping and Payment

          Our goods are shipped worldwide by EMS from China but mostly by DHL from Canada, based on delivery speed and our stock inventory. A tracking number will be added and activated when the parcel is shipped in 1-3 days after payment is cleared. Normally parcels sent to USA, Canada, Australia and West Europe take 2-5 working days for delivery, and 5-12 working days to the rest.

          Delivery might be delayed for a few days due to random customs inspections, holidays’ peak traffic, bad weather, incorrect address, receiver's absence at delivery etc. We may extend the delivery date. Shipping status keeps updating in the transaction till your reception, please be patient and keep an eye on it.

          Please provide us with your telephone number in case of customs clearance and local delivery.

          We make lowest selling price or declared value in commercial invoice so that you would pay less or even zero customs duty to import the goods. Our shipping price includes actual shipping cost, fuel surcharge, insurance and handling fees that are not dutiable.

          We offer two parts of discounts for combine shipment. The shipping discount is automatically deducted by EMS in-built system. Regarding price discount for multiple items, please email us model numbers (our SKUs) and quantity prior to your purchase so we can estimate the best price for you. We do not offer discount for an order of a single item due to expensive shipping cost.

          Besides Escrow, we also accept Alipay, PayPal, AmazonPayment, credit card, bank deposit, wire transfer and personal check.

   

  Guarantee and Return

          We guarantee 100% satisfaction by offering you exchange or refund if the parcel is lost, stolen, damaged caused by long and possible rude transportation, seized or rejected by your customs. Unfortunately these cases do happen but very rarely.

          All our goods are carefully inspected and firmly wrapped before shipping. If you received a damaged or faulty item not as described, please contact us with photos in 14 days of receipt of goods. We do offer free exchange or full refund, plus return postage in some cases. Any other returning items such as accidental or wrong orders, intentional refusal at delivery etc are shipped at buyer's cost and must be in original conditions. Otherwise we might offer partial refund by charging restocking or refurbishing fees. As our parcels are heavy and large in size, any return could be a big loss for both of us. Please be decisive when you place an order. We appreciate your prompt payment. Late payment may run into out-of-stock or cancellation of your order.

          Buyers from Brazil and Mexico are mandatory to provide us with your tax ID (e.g. CPF number) for customs clearance. Buyers from India need to provide to customs with your KYC (Know Your Customs) documents, or government recoginzed indentity, address proof and Authorization letter. Buyers from Russia Federation should provide us with your company name, address and phone for safe and smooth clearance. Sometimes police permit is needed to purchase swords for some countries. We will notify you of whether the item is allowed to enter your country since some countries classify swords as dangerous weapon. If not, we will cancel and refund your order paid.

          The duty rate for swords in European countries is higher. We are NOT responsible for brokerage, customs duty, other import fees, loss, damage or serious delay caused by failure of clearance due to incomplete documents or miss of delivery due to your absence or incorrect address.

   

  Weapons and Maintenance

          Our swords are handmade, non-sharpened and false-edged replicas. All the military models are miniatures made of metal, plastic or wood. They are used for collection, decoration, props and activities like animation, costume play and martial arts. For safety purpose, we do not sell functional or real battle-ready weapons.

          All metal swords require responsible use, care, and maintenance. Your sword should always be covered with a light coating of oil to prevent rust on the blade. Common oil could be a mixture of sewing machine oil and vaccine. Please periodically check if the hanging sword and screws are getting loose on the wall mount.
