For RC conversion purpose, we design this dedicated set of brass upgrade kit. It includes powerful 050 motors X4 and corresponding shafts and bearing etc. RC fans whom have strong craftwork skills and experiences could convert the original kit as a RC destroyer model.

1.5 to 2 mm brass shaft couplings could effectively transmit the torque from 050 motors and tightly fasten even in high-speed.

Brass shaft sleeve with stuffing box available for lubricate injection. Which also waterproof the propulsion shafting. Innovating setting the ball bearing on the end of the sleeve achieve excellent lubricated effect.

Two pairs of brass Y-Support is produced by manual welding, which contains all the details from the real.

All propellers have been manufactured and fasten with machine screws, which could tolerate high-speed running.

Shimakaze (島風) (Island Wind) was an experimental destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II, and intended as the lead ship in a projected new “Type C” of destroyers. She was the only destroyer to be armed with 15 torpedo tubes, each capable of firing the deadly 610 mm (24 in) Type 93 “Long Lance” torpedo. The ship also served as a testbed for an enormously powerful, high-temperature, high-pressure steam turbine that was able to develop 79,240 shp (59,090 kW). This made her one of the fastest destroyers in the world: her design speed was 39 kn (72 km/h; 45 mph), but on trials she made 40.9 kn (75.7 km/h; 47.1 mph).

On completion at Maizuru on 10 May 1943, Shimakaze was assigned to the IJN 1st Fleet, and participated in the evacuation of Japanese troops from Kiska Island towards the end of the Aleutian Islands campaign from July to August, serving as flagship for the screening force. In September and October, she was used to escort vessels between Yokosuka and Truk, and at the end of October escorted the fleet from Truk to Eniwetok due to increasing American air raids.

On 4 November, Shimakaze was appointed flagship of Destroyer Squadron 2 under the command of Rear Admiral Mikio Hayakawa, and assigned to escort a troop convoy from Manila to Ormoc. She was attacked by American aircraft from Task Force 38 on 11 November 1944 during the Battle of Ormoc Bay, and disabled by strafing and near misses early in the attack. She drifted and burned for several hours before exploding and sinking at 10°50′N 124°35′ECoordinates: 10°50′N 124°35′E. A total of 131 survivors were rescued, but this total also included crewmen from Wakatsuki, so the total from Shimakaze is unknown. Admiral Hayakawa was killed in action. Shimakaze was removed from the navy list on 10 January 1945.

島風型駆逐艦の島風(しまかぜ)は,日本海軍が舞鶴海軍工廠で建造した一等駆逐艦.1941年(昭和16年)8月に起工し,1943年(昭和18年)5月に竣工した.島風型駆逐艦は次世代の艦隊型駆逐艦として新型機関(公試全力7万5890馬力)を搭載,40.9ノットの高速を発揮し,重雷装(五連装魚雷発射管3基,15射線)を備えていた.だが太平洋戦争開戦による戦術の変更や水雷戦自体の可能性の低さ,手間のかかる生産から島風型の量産計画は放棄され,駆逐艦の建造は秋月型駆逐艦や丁型(松型駆逐艦)に移行した.

1944年(昭和19年)6月中旬以降,大和型戦艦を護衛して渾作戦やマリアナ沖海戦に従事する.一旦内地に戻ったあと,7月上旬にリンガ泊地へ進出し,訓練に従事した.10月中旬以降,捷一号作戦にともない栗田艦隊(指揮官栗田健男中将,第二艦隊司令長官)に所属してレイテ沖海戦に参加する.10月24日,島風は沈没寸前の戦艦武蔵の救援を行い,同艦に収容されていた重巡洋艦摩耶(前日,米潜水艦により沈没)の生存者約600名を受け入れた. レイテ沖海戦後,第二水雷戦隊はレイテ島への地上兵力増援作戦(多号作戦)に投入される.第二水雷戦隊旗艦(司令官早川幹夫少将)として第三次多号作戦に従事中の11月11日,島風はオルモック湾で米軍機動部隊艦載機の攻撃を受け,僚艦(長波,若月,浜波)等と共に撃沈された
